The guys from Gamepressure noticed that the maps appear to be a little too similar and they just might be right about this. The similarities between the two games, Far Cry Primal and Far Cry 4, seem to extend past the engine and some assets. The studio had a similar endeavor named Far Cry Blood Dragon, which was very well received and was using the engine from Far Cry 3. It’s no secret that Far Cry Primal is using the engine and much of the assets from Far Cry 4, and this is nothing new. Ubisoft’s Far Cry Primal game seems to be a little too similar with Far Cry 4, the FPS launched by the same studio back in 2014.
